GOT QUESTIONS?

Q: when should i take instantized whey protein concentrate (WPC)?

A. Honestly, it really depends on your lifestyle and fitness goals. We recommend the following optimal serving times for Instantized Whey Protein Concentrate: immediately upon waking, 30 minutes pre-workout and immediately after your workout and before you go to bed. Additionally, any other time during the day when you require additional protein intake also works.

Q: How can I tell if the protein I use is a good quality protein?

A. It’s all declared - make sure to read the label! Some unscrupulous brands don't declare the protein breakdown of their product and limit the amount of nutritional information shared - you should demand this information (exercise your RTI) and be wary of such brands. Keys signs to look for are the amount of protein per serve declared on the label. Look for whey protein concentrate with a minimum of 80% protein per serving. FYI, there are brands selling whey protein concentrate that is 70% or lower - this should be cheaper as it offers less protein and nutritional benefits per serve. Unflavoured, instantized pure whey protein concentrate should be smooth with a neutral dairy taste. It should be easy to mix. The most obvious sign is the results you get from consuming the product.

Q: Is Whey Protein concentrate suitable for vegetarians and vegans ?

A. Fitness Stanadard™ Instantized Whey Protein Concentrate is suitable for vegetarians, but not for vegans as it is derived from milk and contains some minimal amount of naturally occurring lactose.

Q: Can I take Whey Protein CONCENTRATE with other NUTRITION supplements?

A. Yes, no problem!! We strongly recommend that you always check the serving instructions on each product that you plan on taking as a combination, in addition to the WPC. Usually, WPC is most commonly taken with Creatine Monohydrate, BCAA and Glutamine.

Q: What if any side effects will I get from taking Whey Protein concentrate?

A. We haven't heard of any bad or nasty side effects from taking WPC, other than maybe increased flatulence! So long as you are not allergic to dairy proteins or need to restrict dairy products for medical reasons, you should be fine. Yay! If you are allergic to dairy proteins, we urge you to consult your doctor prior to consuming any type of whey protein.

Consuming excess protein may lead to increased body fat, if you don't succeed in burning the excess calories that come with the additional protein. No other side effects to whey, truly the wonder food, have been noted.
